The loyalty points system is really messed up, here's why...

seems that the people who moan about the loyalty points system usually have hardly any points..... go more games and youl have more points :)

Spot on! Suddenly the LP system is flawed when we get to a semi final/final and there's more pissing and moaning than a top shelf DVD!
Sounds harsh but for those of you 'coming onboard' recently a lot of us have been travelling the country for years with 2 hopes of going to see the Blues in the showpiece games......Bob Hope and no fucking hope!
So now we're backed by imesureable funds with any luck you won't need to do what some of us have been doing for years i.e following the lads through thin and thinner...and upholding the name of Manchester City ..before you get to see some glory! Loyalty points? ...what the fuck were they in the 1970's?
Proper Blues turn out!! rain or shine..thats not to say the newer lads are any less passionate! But the point totals say it all! New Blues time will come!
Don't buy into all this crap that "I've been to all this seasons cup games at Eastlands"...some of us have been disappointed year on year for decades but we're still here!!
Some on here think they deserve a final ticket because they've ventured out to Notts County and Leicester..but some have done similar trips 20 fold!! Like most things, depending on what you put in is proportionate to what comes out the other end. The LP system works!! It's the fairest way!

-- Mon Apr 25, 2011 12:46 am --

Well the people getting 30 points for a home league game wouldn't be season ticket holders would they! They put the points up for them games to try to get more citycard and accesscard holders in. On any tickets all season ticket holders get tickets before citycard so a citycard holder could have 8000 points but a season ticket holder with 1000 would always come before him!

That cleared it up for u!

I think I am going through Groundhog day!!

How many more threads on loyalty points do we need? So we have managed to get to a Cup final and suddenly everyone is concerned about loyalty points!! City do their best, they have to make a decision on what criteria to use for the final tickets and they cannot please everyone. It isn't their fault that the FA in their wisdom can't/won't give us extra tickets.

We just have to live with it. That's life, it ain't fair (life) but it is much better than the alternative!! :-)

the only people that ever moan about the loyalty point system is the ones who havent got enough points to get to the so called bigger games(and blackpool) away, but you can guarantee that they are not going to blackburn today which is one of the games that gives the opportunity to build up points. The loyalty points system is the fairest system end of,thats why its called loyalty

Great post.

Im a season card holder had enough loyality points for semi but not for final, if someone went home and away on an access card and had say 6000 loyalty points do they apply for final or do they not get to go cos they couldnt afford the 600 quid at the start of the season, if so think its unfair if you had a city card went to every game but coulndt see the final cos you didnt have a season card

The Loyalty points scheme is as fair as it comes, everyone starts on 0 and gains more as they go. If your 17 with low points, then do what i did at that age and travelled every where i could with City. It was more to do with the day out with my mates than the football ( because it was shit).

The older lot on more points will have done it over years as well, so keep going to games and you will moe up the queue.

Still dont agree with the CDS as that bypasses the loyalty points system.
