Well we'll see if we've learnt from last season in the next 5 games.

Dortmund are our Napoli, Madrid away is a different kettle of fish but if we've learnt from the experience and our errors there and get through the group then it's progress.

We didn't do badly last year despite going out.

We lost a potential £15+ million mate. FFP ;)

wow, I must go and tell Eden Hazard's agent that it's all Cavani's fault.

What a silly response. Had we done better in the CL we would have a better C/E and get seeded higher quickly, we'd make more money too which is paramount to FFP and for the clubs kitty.

I never said fuck all about Hazard either.

Not read through thread but all I want to say is it is a fine line in football being winners and losers.
If yaya had put his chance away we would have gone on to win the game. Mancini would be hero and everyone would be creaming over him.
I think he set up well with Yaya in a forward role to support tevez, nasri and silva. A few errors against the worlds best will have taught some of our players a harsh lesson of which Mancini and the players will all be better for! Role on the Arse, should be a walk in the park now we been to Madrid CTID

even if we would have gone to win that cant change the fact that performance wise RM destroied us. first half was nothing short than umiliating. also cause few mancini's mistakes (and God now how much this cost to may to say)

Normally your English is better than this. Have you been smashing back the Chianti?

Yes, I know, it was merely playing on the fact that as PSG and Chelsea prove FFP is just an excuse for us not to spend the money we should have to compete with the likes of Real.

You can't pin any CL failure solely on the manager when he wasn't given the players he asked for by a tight board, they have to share the responsibility of their decisions as well.

I like the ATM part! That suggests there is something stronger on the cards.

I have every faith in Mancini right now. Only his man management needs to improve and I said that last season.

The board have tightened up a season too soon imo. I don't know what strategy they have but they do need to allow Mancini his players that he feels are needed for the top. I can only assume we went for some biggies and they didn't come off and we are keeping our money for Jan and Summer if a biggie comes in?

our scouting has to be absolutely top dollar because we don't want £20m+ signings anymore it seems.
