On Radio 2 4 pm sport bulletin, they said Man Utd v City (thought it was at Etihad) then reported that Fergie said City have had 20 penalties this season !

A 96th minute penalty for us might send the old alcoholic the same way as his mentor Jock Stein.

Seriously though how many rags are out in force spouting shit to the press this week?
I hope the match ends with a packed house rendition of (affix winning scoreline here) in your cup final, because those sad rags led by the saddest of em all are treating like its the last game of the season.
I mean fucking hell I would love it if we won but that lot are seriously more bitter now than ever before. I hope the away end on sunday has fresh kleenex on the seats just in case!

So, Slurgie reckons we get too many penalties then?

Sir Alex Ferguson says there would be a House of Commons inquiry if Manchester United got as many penalties as their "biggest threat" Manchester City.

The number of penalties City get at home has been the subject of debate for the past two years with them being awarded 21 since the start of 2010/11.

City have been awarded four in their past three games at the Etihad Stadium, two against Aston Villa and one each in the draws with Real Madrid and Everton.

And, ahead of United's trip to City on Sunday, Ferguson raised the issue as he admitted United's nearest neighbours are now their closest rivals.

"The number of penalty kicks they get - 21 in the last year or something like that," said Ferguson.

"If we got that number of penalty kicks there'd be an inquiry in the House of Commons. There'd be a protest."

"Liverpool and United games over the last 25 years have been unbelievable," said Ferguson.

"They've always been the most important games. It's shifted because at this moment Liverpool aren't challenging for the league like City are."

He added: "City are our biggest threat and we're their biggest threat, so that's changed.

"Their fortunes changed the minute Sheikh Mansour took over. We know the minute that happened it was going to be a different ball game altogether.

"But, as we have in the past, we have to accept their challenge like we did when Chelsea came along and when Arsenal overtook Liverpool in the early 90s. We have to do it again."

Trying everything, isn't he?

Let's take a look at the evidence, then:

--------------------------2010-11--------2011-12------2012-13-----TOTAL
----Manchester United---------5-------------11------------5---------21--
----Manchester City-----------9--------------8------------4----------21--

Oops, Slurgie and Sky talking sh*te again.

What pisses me off is that these stats are probably available at the hacks fingertips on the internet, so why don#t they do a quick search for them during the conference and shove them down his throat?

Shithouses, the lot of them!
They didn't put it back at him becuase all decent journos are banned from the swamp, and the remaining one-brain celled imbeciles were too busy grinning at his 'house of comments' jape

Oh how the morons laughed

The journos, mostly are bunch of sycophantic tw@ts who never dare question Bacon Face. He is of course trying to ensure that we don't get a pen and that they do. Let's see how strong Atkinson is. I doubt we will get a pen on Sunday even if it is blatant. The only ref I trust is Mike Dean.

I'd like to see a team of Sunday if fit:

Hart
Zaba Komps Nasti Clichy

Milner Yaya Barry

Silva Aguero

Tevez

Though Clichy and Milner are doubts.

if they don't make it:

Hart
Zaba Komps Lescott Nasti

Yaya Barry

Silva Aguero Nasri

Tevez

COME ON CITY!
