The "Manchester" Snow Thread

Think the game will be off.

Pal at City has said it is out of club hands- GMP will make the call and they will base it on the surrounding areas and highways, rather than the pitch and immediate stadium surroundings.

News North West this morn are reporting further heavy snow falls for region and suppose the ice factor also has to be included if a thaw begins.

Ticket office is closed, save your petrol. Or ring up the ticketline, that's still working.

Southern part of Bury, near Whitefield, must be a good 6" thick and it's snowing like buggery. I'm glad I work from home these days (insofar as I do any work) though looking at the cars in our street most people have stayed at home anyway. I don't blame 'em. It'd be a good 20 minutes work just to dig out the motor. Then the street itself is thick with snow, and I doubt whether the Council will have got the major roads sorted yet.
