Tiger.
Rose-putting all over the place under pressure.
Scott-Have to keep the Open last year in mind.
Oosty-Showing no form.
Bubba-as above.
Not saying they can't do it and golf's as unpredictable as any sport, The Masters likes to churn out unpredictable winners. They're probably a good bet for T10 finishes though.
You'd have backed Phil all the way last year yet Bubba won it, and no-one would realistically have plumped for Zach Johnson, Schwartzel, Immelman, Weir or Cabrera really. It's 8 years since Tiger last won it so he has to be favourite.
Kuchar is in decent nick and finished 3rd last year, if you want an outside bet on a T10 then Couples has done well the past couple of years here despite his age. The same names turn up on the final leaderboards, Westwood, Poulter, KJ, Paddy(those 2 in good nick) even Mahan has a few T10's(not much form though). You can't discount the fact that Snedeker finished 3rd there about 5 years ago but he's not had any form since his injury. Keegan Bradley has picked up 5 T10's this year, could be worth a punt as when he's on it he wins but you just never know with him.
If you want a complete outside punt, of players you'd deem to have no chance John Merrick has a win under his belt this year and a T6 at Augusta with 2 other T10's in Majors, though the year after his 6th he did miss the cut in 2010. Michael Thompson won this year and has only placed once at Augusta, missed the cut but in recent major appearances finished T2 at last year's difficult US Open, was cut at The Open and PGA though. Bill Haas is a cut maker and has 5 T10's but can't get the win at the moment this year, maybe worth a T10 punt if you can find an offer like that. Jason Day is quietly going about his business, 3 T10's including a 3rd in the Matchplay, not missed a cut this season and his only Masters finish was a 2nd place, on his way back after a very difficult year last year. Richard Sterne has a win and hasn't finished outside the T20 this year, apparently also lives in Manchester for part of the year, make of that what you will, has a T25 and a MC when playing at Augusta.
As far as somebody like a G-Mac goes, he either misses the cut or finishes in the top 20 at Augusta. Finished no worse than 12th in any major last year and has 3 T10's this season in just 5 appearances.
I always let my heart rule my head in golf so will always have a punt on Sergio. It's hard to see past the usual suspects though. If Tiger plays well he wins.
