For anyone slagging off Scheffler watch the jacket presentation on the green youll see the congratulations he gives rory
Agreed, but he was obviously emotionally overwhelmed by the victory.I thought it was poor that rag Rory didn’t say anything about Justin Rose in the green jacket room. One of the nicest blokes in golf Justin, long time Ryder cup colleague, brilliant round today, not a word from the rag
He’s a rag, I forgive nothing. Equally I wish someone at Sly would sort Laura Davies’s mic.Agreed, but he was obviously emotionally overwhelmed by the victory.
I can forgive him for that.
Sheffler couldnt get out of their quick enough
Fuck me, Scheffler just scowled, put the green jacket on him, didn’t say a single fucking word and fucked off, is there some history there?
Glad it wasn't just me that picked up on this. Looked terrible. Hopefully he was a bit more sportmanlike off camera, because he really came across as being a ****.
Each to there own mate. He’s a rag, I forgive nothing. Equally I wish someone at Sly would sort Laura Davies’s mic.
Butch Harmon, what a nice bloke, honorary European
Well I might end up eating mega humble pie if Mcllory ends up winning this major especially after that double double bogey late in day one!
There still way more golf to play but Mcllory last 24 holes been perfect!
Didn’t mention Rose in his outdoor speech quite a bit later eitherAgreed, but he was obviously emotionally overwhelmed by the victory.
I can forgive him for that.
It’s not about you Faldo for fucks sake. “I’ve known him for 20 years, he played in my Faldo series, I brought him to California”, nobody cares Nick.
I think he’ll be more disappointed with his game late on Saturday than the playoff. In the end he got beat by a brilliant second shot from McIlroy and you can’t control that.Great late drama, massive congratulations to Rory. Sad to see someone lose that especially when it's Rose.
Incredible viewing last night, the Masters never disappoints. What brilliant sporting drama
He was born in Holywood, Northern Ireland.Surely a Brit play off in the masters.
It might be my shit memory, but bad round 3’s in majors feels like it’s been an issue for Justin over the years? Shane, cos he is a smashing bloke, and as always very gracious in defeat (in the interviews I heard didn’t hear McIllroy mention him at all)Great late drama, massive congratulations to Rory. Sad to see someone lose that especially when it's Rose.
Eyes were shot by half 10 so went to bed. Watching a re run of it now. Please, nobody tell me who won…
Ta.
Silly me ;-)lol why on earth would you open this thread if you want to avoid that!
Each to there own mate.
As a golf fan, I couldn't give a fuck who he supports, as it makes no difference to me.
It's not like he's playing in a united top.
He's a great golfer and is good to watch, and like it or not, he's now in the grand slam club, a rare thing.
I can respect that regardless.
