The Melton mowbray pork pie

Jeez I just googled Idahos favourite dishes. What in God's name is Potato ice cream? Don't get me started on finger steaks.
Can’t say I’ve heard of either but will see if I can find such delicacies and report back to you, always up for a new challenge!
I have a can of Ambrosia custard on the shelf just in case I can’t find them, love the stuff!

My favourite cold lunch alongside good quality scotch eggs. I don't like them heated or freshly out of oven. Unfortunately they are gone from the menu since 1 Jan since I have completely changed my diet. I might have one one every couple of years.

Only ever called a small, pork pie a dinky and only ever ate them cold.
Local variances I assume. We all grew up isolated in the past and just assumed everyone called everything the same. You used to be able to tell kids were from the next town over by the words they used. It was a right eye-opener when I first moved out of Lancashire.

It’s not the same anymore.

Agreed. Anything beyond Greenfield might as well have been Scotland.
