Yep, they’re the best ones you can get in the supermarkets and the one I get most weekends. Dickinson and Morris own the old pork pie shoppe in Melton.
The absolute best are Dickinson and Morris but in the white packaging, they’re the ones that are baked the night before in the shop itself. You can get them delivered too -
Hand Finished Large Dickinson & Morris Melton Mowbray Pork Pie 440g
Hand Finished Medium Dickinson & Morris Melton Mowbray Pork Pie (440g/1lb) made with 100% outdoor-bred British pork, encased in a rich, hot water crust pastry.

That one and the Mrs King one on that website are both great. And the Stilton topped one if you like Stilton :)
That one you posted though, you can get them in Sainsburys and a couple of the other supermarkets too I think.

Yep. It’s why it has the jelly in it - keeps the pork moist and the pastry dry.

You’re welcome. I’m going to tell them in the shop on Saturday, if they get an influx of orders from Manchester, I want a free pie at least! :)

Some pork pies are rank though, soft cheap pastry, hate that.
