The Mole / Team Leaks

Why does Morgan Freeman care?

it's not the tweet that's the issue here it's the fact that someone within the club is finding time to feed the information to someone when they should be concentrating on the pre game stuff.

Even if Aguero is unhappy we've no reason to believe he would do something to undermine the manager or to the detriment of the team... he's never been like that, ever from what I remember.

Also if the problem is he doesn't feel he is getting enough game time or undervalued or not happy with the relationship with the manager... why on earth would he go and leak information and risk pissing off Pep and his coaching staff off... doesn't make sense does it? Is this journo spanish? Maybe he knows someone on Pep's coaching team and it's done with Pep's blessing for all we know. Why are so many looking for reasons to worry about Sergio? It's exactly what the press want.

Anyone know when the lineups are given to the refs? If the leak's after that, then why would the club care? - at that point, the opposition can't get any advantage from it.
2hrs before,i have a lot of them in my collection thanks to andy garratt being my brothers best mate, plenty of time to have teams leaked by anyone who sees the team sheet,if the club cared they would complain, non story really

....Really?

If Pep actually had a problem with this, and a player was the source and kept doing it, then who gives a fuck how unhappy he is? He's disobeying team orders and undermining the manager at that point.

Still on your one man mission to get rid of Aguero?

Another 2 goals for him today, bet you're wounded haha!

Do us a favour mate and give it a rest.

Lol. I didn't even mention Aguero in that post, it had nothing to do with him. I deliberately said any player who hypothetically leaked stuff to the press after being told not to would be in trouble.

Can I ask for some evidence of this one man crusade? Strange because I've very specifically and very often said I want nothing more than Aguero to get on with Pep and hit his best form...

Thanks for the info! Only a problem for the bookies then.

The lineups are given to the media, referees about 20 minutes before they’re released, around the same time this guy tweets. (Yes they give the teamsheets to the media)

Each premier league team has a premier league official assigned to each home game, he usually works in the dressing room/tunnel area. He liaises between the two teams, officials and media. Team sheets are hand written on a 5 part sheet, a representative of each team (usually Brian Kidd in City's case) goes to the referees room 75 minutes before kick off, the referee checks the sheet for player numbers, staff on the bench and strip colours, he keeps a copy of each teams sheet, each team gets a copy of the other teams sheet, a club official gets a copy to prepare team sheets for written media and sponsors, the premier league official has the other two parts, one for the league files and one for the match day broadcast media. If SKY or BT are broadcasting the game live, they get the team sheet a few minutes before the rest of the media so they can announce the teams before anyone else.

Some of the times this guy is announcing team news is before the ref, premier league or broadcast media have the sheet, so it must be coming from someone in the dressing room who is around when the players get to know the line up, be it at the training session before, at the hotel before leaving for the ground, or in the dressing room.

Maybe it's actually a cunning plan by Pep, as cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University. Build up a track record for this guy so that for an important game where he intends to do something different, deliberately leak the wrong lineup. By the time the opposition see the real lineup it is too late.
Since the journo is spanish maybe the plan is aimed at barca or real if we meet them

Did anyone see those two guys with a microphone/cam before the coach arrived. (Had an AN mic - not sure what channel they are) - they knew Bravo was in net and the team hadn't even got off the coach??
