The most awe inspiring place you've been

Id never been to Sydney and I was visiting our head office in a Sydney suburb, after work I got a taxi into the Rocks area of the City.
I told the driver I wanted to see the Opera house etc so he dropped me off at the end of a little street and said, just walk down that street and check out the view, I walked down between the buildings and there suddenly it was, Sydney Harbour down below in all its majesty, the harbour bridge, the Opera house, the turquoise water the deep blue sky, the little boats and ferries bobbing about, Id seen a thousand pictures of this view and suddenly there it was but in 3D and spectacular.........it was so feckin beautiful I started (embarrassingly) to cry quietly to myself as I thought of my passed away Dad who had always dreamed of migrating to Australia.
Its a funny thing but I felt I was with him one last time.

Crossing any of the bridges going into Manhattan for me closely followed by driving from L.A. down the California coast to San Diego.

Iguazu Falls in from the Brazilian side was something special.

Seeing Everest is up there too.

And Vietnam as a whole was an amazing experience. Bat shit crazy like

I found seeing the Coliseum in Rome with my own eyes a truely jaw dropping moment

It's what I miss most about home :(

I once went on the ferry between North / South of New Zealand.
The journey through the channel in the south island to Nelson was amazing. Incredibly, whilst observing the fantastic scenery, many remained inside watching Emmerdale Farm on the TV......

Will be there on Friday for the afternoon, meeting up with a former work colleague who's over with family for the week :)

If your going to Manhatten, I'd recommend going to the 'Mad Hatter' pub.
Brilliant City pub, caked in black and red stripes.
