It’s a play.'Cathy Come Home' is as desperate and depressing a film as I've ever seen.
wolf creek was very depressing.Bad lieutenant was a bit grim as was woolf creek.
I bought The Grey and watched it with my then wife who absolutely hated it for its ‘shite ending’. I read recently though that at the end of the credits there’s a scene where the wolf Liam Neeson fights is lying dead, so maybe it is actually a happy ending? The Grey and Apocalipto. Both unrelentingly violent and brutal, with the polar opposite of happy endings.
I watched that when I was 15, quite possibly never really understanding it fully, been meaning to watch it as an adult to see if it was worth it, I remember a train station scene was quite sad and the flat and endless screaming from a 'baby' want to say there was a lot of ticking going on but it was at least 35+ years ago lolEraserhead depressed and horrified me first time watching when I was about 13. I've seen it since and it still has the same effect. Good though.
I just watched that a month ago, it was sad and depressing.Only saw it once 20 years ago but Requiem for a dream I remember being depressing
