The most depressing film..

I, Daniel Blake - even more depressing it documents peoples lives up to 2016 and nothing has changed 8 years later and the current rhetoric looks like it will extend it - makes Kes look like a fun musical
I watched that on a plane fuck me it didn’t get my holiday off to a good start, utterly depressing film and like you say nothing has changed.

I watched that when I was 15, quite possibly never really understanding it fully, been meaning to watch it as an adult to see if it was worth it, I remember a train station scene was quite sad and the flat and endless screaming from a 'baby' want to say there was a lot of ticking going on but it was at least 35+ years ago lol
Did you watch it when it was on TV in the early 80s? That's when I saw it. Yeah, curiosity made me watch it again some years later and ...it's even freakier. I had to be in the right state of mind for it..haha.

watched it on vhs lol my mate had one and we used to have a film night at his, his mam used to get us a 4 pack as well, which was cool as a 15yo kid lol

Might have a look on the firestick and see how it goes, can always knock it off or the wife can knock it off when she says WTF is this shit :)

Christiane F and Naked (Mike Leigh) are both films I'm unlikely to watch in the near future. Bleak!
