It's natural that everyone wants to see our downfall and knock us off our perch.

We've been unbelievable and people get tired of it.

But the empty seats, awful fan base, blah blah blah us very tiring from the media. No other fanbase is vilified by journalists and ex players like ours.

I don't condone or suggest any sort of violence, but when they start on the fan base they're crossing the line. Can you imagine the reaction if some "pundit" made a derogatory remark about the scousers?

I don’t normally wear colours but when I’m away from home I’ll wear a t-shirt connected to us, the amount of people who want to engage to talk about city is very complimentary I’d say the very high end of genuine football intellects don’t have a problem at all with city high percentage of most ends with “ as long as it’s not the scousers or Utd keep doing with what you’re doing”.
Genuine lads and lasses couldn’t give a fook with the social media oxygen thieves regarding city.
Some paranoia from our own doesn’t help.

We are popular abroad. The English media has fuelled a hate campaign against us here. It is not just about our success on the pitch though that is a key element.

I knew we were hated so much since we've been successful, We are hated even more now that we are sh*t...Again...

Liverpool have been shit for 30 years, Rags have been shit for 12 years, They still get called "The biggest clubs in England"...

The truth is, "Manchester City are the best ever English team", We've won 4 in a row which nobody has ever done....We've done it.

What exactly are we trying to achieve in football as a fan base and more importantly as a club...No matter what we do we'll never be classed as the so called "Big Boys"...

Listening to opposition fans and pundits along with media in recent weeks, We are totally despised!

You are obviously young, many successful clubs were despised for many years, it is our turn now, but at least we are a successful club. The teams that are most despised are those that play dirty, their fans are nasty, and their owners don’t give a damn as long as they are making money. Don’t go there on the last point for City, I have faith in our owners

If you read most of the player performance threads and the post match one - there are plenty of 'blues' that despise us too.

With your blinkered eyesight, maybe, but you and your ilk are never able to give any names when challenged. They just slink off to another thread for a few hours and hope nobody will notice when they parrot the same stuff next time.

So how about a few names? 5 will do nicely.

If you can’t give a straight reply (which I know you won’t) maybe think again about post this accusation umpteen times a week.

The most amusing thing I read this week, apart from a very funny Christmas cracker joke, was a United fan taking the piss out of us, then they lost yet again.
