The most incompetent, ill written city article ever

I agree bucks, just another cheap pop at us, just wanted to clarify why we pay these wages to average players, everyone else is doing it, the c**ts in the press fail to acknowledge this, how much is the german pig f*cker on at the swamp to sit on his arse with the kids???

Perhaps we should have bought back Sturridge for 120mill. Maybe then this sad c*nt would have praised for a great bit of transfer business??

Large wages don't seem to prevent United, Liverpool and Chelsea offloading players. We've had problems with getting rid of deadwood for salaries since 2009 (I know Mills and a few others came before) so these things need to be actively worked upon. We may not need the money, but it's certainly not ideal.

We can improve in this area though, we are probably still paying negredos wages at boro ( joke)

Over recent years we have over paid obvs, but been too easy to ship out on loan.

These players are international quality . Paying other clubs to have international players play for them is a bit much in my view. Youngsters fine as there is some benefit but are bony , nasri, mangala really coming back.

If we do have deep pockets and money isn't an object I would like to see us be tough and say these players can go but at no ongoing cost to us, how the player and the new club work that it is for them. If he wants to play for the new club and the new club wants them and we don't I do think we should hold firmer and say to a few you are staying put until a deal is done on a permanent basis.

I think clubs and players know we do this and it is pretty risk free for the clubs. Other top clubs don't do this as often as we do with older players who no longer fit into the clubs plans. I would like us to be a bit tougher that's all.

However as someone said fans are more interested in players in than out and this transfer window is fucking brilliant and I cannot wait to see these new players in the team.

Maybe we should simply have made these seasoned internationals train with the u23s and bad mouth them the way Maureen does before leaving them out of the squad?

Is that the same Chelsea who have 38, not a typo, 38, players out on loan, and we are getting shit from some no mark, seems legit.

Granted, but they managed to shift Luiz for £50m so someone must have their shit together one day every now and then (just a shame for them they've managed to buy him twice now) haha

It is bad business, we cant offload them because of high salaries that we have given to average players.

Why did we feel the need to offer Bony 3x his salary to move from Swansea? Was the lure of Champions league football and a title challenge not enough?

Mangala was another one, unproven centre half from Portugal and we felt the need to stick him on £100k a week, I don't understand football and I'm not sure if I want to.

Spot on, hopefully we'll never be that desperate again to lure players. It was poor business to get these players in the first place and then let them stay on high salaries. I might not include Nasri because he was injured last season and at least is a quality player. The Bony one has been probably our worst buy since Jo and he was total gash.
