The most unfunny comedian ever

I think for some panel shows have killed the modern comic on telly being as good to watch.

When they had shows that was pure stand up or sketch like Dave Allen, Saturday live then later FNL where Ben Elton did his monologues and had slots for harry enfield, Alexis Sayle show etc.

I think only Stuart Lee has had similar style show recently

I was told to watch Amy Schumer. Think i have found the most cringe worthy terrible comedian. I really have no idea how she is famous for being a comedian. Pretty sure she steals jokes to as some sounded very very close to other comedians material. Seriously, do not pay to watch her stuff if you have to on nf. The show is from start to finish a car crash of me squirming on her behalf. Pretty sure her original material is not written by herself either, very hard to watch. She has not one redeeming quality as a comedian, none. Far far worse than even Gervais when he tries standup, at least he has a comedic mind even. Gervais is just a writer trying to do the front of house stuff, Schumer is here for no apparent reason.

How the fuck anybody could pay money to be bored rigid by him, is as baffling to me as my Mrs thinking I will remember to do the stuff she tells me to do everytime she crosses our fucking front door.

Netflix are putting out quite a lot of stand up specials lately. James Acaster's four part special was probably the best stand up I've seen on TV since Stuart Lee's Comedy Vehicle.

I think Frankie Boyle is much better as a satirist. I remember seeing an interview with him where he was talking about how on Mock the Week they were encouraged to cover mundane stories rather than being able to talk about serious world issues. That's where his dark humour really comes into its own, with jokes like "Hillary Clinton didn't believe in female genital mutilation.....unless it was performed by an American drone." I much prefer that sort of stuff rather than his endless creative variations of "isn't this celebrity ugly."

No idea if he's funny or not just sick of seeing his mush in the TV mag every week in relation to yet another show he's involved with.
He's on more things than dust.
