I honestly thought that Jones should have been booked for the foul on Sergio as he scored, there was no way he was going for the ball (it wasn't halfway up Sergio's calf) IMO that could easily have been a straight red for serious foul play. Defoe could have got away with the first elbow on Demichelis if it was perceived as accidental but the fact that he tried to do it again a couple of minutes later and demi pulled him down should have meant he should have been sent off when he did it again to Otamendi as should the cunts who elbowed Clichy and Fernandinho.
Jones, if he wasn't sent off for the foul on Sergio should have been at least booked for it which meant that he should have been sent off for a second bookable offence when he eventually did get booked. How Sunderland did not finish that game with 7 men is beyond me.
Another point about fouls for and against us, the Sky stats only seem to show the cases where the game is stopped for a free kick, in a number of cases last night twatwell clearly indicated that he was playing advantage as we retained possession after a foul but these are not reflected in the stats. Sunderland players without exception went down like Linda Lovelace if one of our players breathed in their general direction.
