I believe all's well that ends well and now we have a cease fire policy thanks to Starmer and Labour, according to his comical Ali poster on here. Catastrophe has been avoided I believe and Israel and Hamas will fold under the weight of our great parliamentary reach.
Our small right wing wums have had their say as well. Another side taking fuck fest on Bluemoon.
That or the reality they all looked like twats and the whole episode will just make more people despondent with politics.
No one gained anything from yesterday except maybe giving some foreign powers a good old belly laugh.
Thankfully there are still.posters on here that saw it for what it was.

They really didn't, there is really no need to proclaim a 'winner' nor sell it that way. It just diminishes the view going forward of person trying it.

Yeah Labour refusing to back a ceasefire on the basis they weren't the ones who'd asked for it and relying on the speaker to throw himself under the bus to get their motion through doesn't really count as handing anyone their arse. Especially when thousands of innocent people have been dying whilst they've been politicking about it for the last few months. Starmer's an embarrassment.
Even in small meetings he would ask a question, or three, then bellow if interrupted by the target of the question trying to answer during his long pauses. All for show and deliberate in my opinion. No one expects a ten part question with long gaps, but he can go on about an interruption rant if anyone tries to respond.Just sums up our country when a complete dick ends up as ‘speaker’.

Equivalent of a ref on the pitch changing the laws of the game on the hoof not interpretation a new rule after a private conversation with one of the managers. Rule change then favoured the manager he chatted with.can someone explain what happened as if you're explaining to a 10 year old

As I've said in another thread. Political games damaged the sovereignty of party. Not helped by client journalists spreading bullshit officially.
I suspect Hoyle will speak today and say he's standing down at the GE and give an angry speech on the sanctity of Parliament.
