The New Top Gear, Yes or No.

4.4m viewers, the lowest viewing figures since Series 8 episode 7, which had 3.89m viewers. So with a highly anticipated debut, world's eyes watching, they've recorded the lowest figures in 9 years 10 months, the lowest for 104 episodes. 2.5m less than the trio's last episode, and 1.4m less than the lowest figures for the last series.

I can't honestly see them making that gulf up, people have voted with their remote controls. If anything, the reaction to last night's has been so negative I can imagine it eventually settling at a 2.5-3m range.

Can see Evans getting accused of indecent exposure or some thing else. Seems a lot of people don't like him and a few will be queuing up to have a go if he has taken banter to the extreme.

No from me but that doesnt mean it cant be saved.....

First thing is abandon the direct copy and allow them to put their own slant on the presentation.

I have serious doubts over Le Blanc as well, he really didn't come across well.

I think he was awful in the studio bit better when left to his own devises

Evans is a nonce. That thing with billy piper was just weird, and I doubt he'd get away with it post yew tree. So its a no from me.
He went on to date a bird I used to see after Billy who's a good 16 years younger than he as well.
