Why would anyone want to spend their money on promoting violence. I rather stick pin in my eyes than read this shit!

Don`t read it then. Violence at the match was a massive part of youth culture. Deal with it.

Hello which part of my post did you not understand. I am sure I stated somewhere in it that I would rather commit violence on my self than read shit, and please dont come out with the crap that violence was part of the youth culture because it wasnt.

So the casual scene (a massive part of youth culture) would have still existed without FV? I think you and I both know that is not the case.

Please explain??????. Not every youth went to football and not every youth who went to football was involved in yob violence. The idiots were in the minority and the only contribution they made is that they nearly killed english football.

Pigeon you strike me as a bit of a napper yourself, call it coincidence but you always seem to be arguing with people and then start getting aggressive at every given chance...

I get the impression you could start an arguement in an empty room,i guess some people get off on that....

And i guess you will call me all the cunts and fucks under the sun but like i give a shite mate..

That is all, just my opinion from the outside, good day to ou!!
Hmm. No, there's no comparison with people getting a bit rowdy on the internet and people hitting people in the face for supporting another football club. That is something I would never do, let alone write a book about it.

Im currently reading 'The Ice man'. Its about a hitman that has claimed to have killed over 200 people. Its a great read!! Is it wrong for me to read a book about someone that has done so many bad things?? You see, people dont want to read about people doin nice things, they want to read about people living on the edge, doin things that would shock us, things that are nuts. If you disagree with that you are surely talking shit. Iv read the Micky Francis Guv'nors book and found it a really entertaining read.Ill be getting the Sully book when Im done reading The ice man.

Richard Kuklinski....that book was so good I read it twice!

I think he bullshitted on a few of those murders though.

Really is a good book! The guy was nuts!.Iv got about quarter of the book to go.Yeah, it does seem pretty hard to believe how he could get away with killing so many people but most were either criminals or the likes of bums who the Police wouldnt really give a fook about..It sounds wrong in a way but I hope he wasnt bullshitting too much.

O pardon me scousers didnt have football yobs they were just scousers. I suppose they were also to blame for fans being cage in grounds like animals and the attendance of decent fans dropping and also giving england fans a bad name. A thug is a thug no matter if he is a young guv, mib or whatever the scousers call their yobs. I support city because I love the club and not violence!

Got plenty of mates thanks, football hooliganism or people who enjoy fighting in the street aren't my thing. If you want to fight, go to a martial arts/boxing gym when the score is evened and an art is practiced. Thought we'd evolved from the cavemen?

Nothing wrong with it not been your thing mate.

Just annoys me a teeny bit when people brand everyone involved as brain dead idiots. You might be surprised if you knew one or two of these cavemen prior to knowing what they got up to.

Who knows, maybe you do, without even knowing it?

That sounds like the perfect way to describe one group of adult males who for no specific reason meet up with another group for the sole purpose of "having a ruck" In what world is it acceptable to defend this kind of behavior?
Human nature. We might have evolved from cavemen by expanding our technology but we are still essentially cavemen. Humans always have been and always will be a dangerous, violent species. Just because some people have integrated into a calmer society it doesnt mean everyone has and there are anything from doleys to barristers involved in this sort of stuff.
