The Newcastle crowd applauded our team. Anyone else?

Toon did boo us during the game (I was sat below our fans tapping my foot to our tunes in the middle of them).

However, at the end of the game 75% of the ones around me in the stand stood and applauded.

I remember a healthy applause for Thierry Henry after he dragged the ball from the heavens and hammered it into the back corner in an instant.

Remember him getting applauded by the north stand at Maine road when he took a corner when they were 4 up after about 25 mins
And Zola getting applauded off when being subbed after tearing us to pieces

I was still walking up and down the kippax steps at that stage; looking for a spare seat as I bought a season ticket stub of a tout.

Not much applause where I was sat either. More concerned with getting City fans thrown out. But in fairness it was a huge game for them as well.

Loads of QPR were clapping us outside the stadium as we were making our way back to the car. I must have shook hands with about ten of them. They all congratulated us and said we deserved it. I now wish QPR well in spite of Lesley and Joey. And well done the Geordies and the Mackens.

Me and mate were in the Gallowgate, and sat with Geordies who we knew, and the rest around had cottoned on that we were Blues....good banter, and all shook our hands after the game wishing us well.

Yep, when they beat us 3-0. The best performance I have ever seen from anyone.

Was good at Newcastle to see other fans showing recognition.
Wolves away was funny too with both sets of fans clapping each other for ages.

I've just remembered Ruud Gullit when he was with Chelsea getting a great round of applause when at Maine Road when he came off I guess around 1995. He had so much time on the ball it was incredible to watch.
