The News of the World Tevez interview

"tevez stays. No team pays £10m a year for 5yrs and £40m to sign him. That's a £90m investment on one tool. Don't see it"

This was Ashton's tweet when asked is gut feeling on whether Tevez will stay or go.

Well we didn't pay £40 million to sign him, so that shows how much he knows.

Just sell him, honestly, I am sick and tired of the Tevez/Kia drama bullshit. They think they are bigger than the club and they are not.

We should sell him simply because of talking to Neil Ashton the ****.

Stony s view is bang on,he shouldnt talk to the press so much but thats what its all about its a show and tevez is leading man,for all he has said it will soon be tomorrows chip paper and when he bangs in the goal to win us the prem all will be forgotten.
Its more than a footie game now its a major soap opera and we all know that its a case of you scratch my back and i will scratch yours, the club would of sanctioned this interview and no doubt there will be favours returned.

Does anyone think that discussing "I only speak to the owner" and he said I can leave if I want to! Disrespectful to our owner when he said this in private to him?

A my soubriquet suggests, I've had a drink now.

So, fuck him.

He stays, scores loads of goals and we win the league, I shall continue to love him for his performances on the pitch and loathe him for being a horrible, sniping, snidey, badly advised muppet

If he leaves, then so fucking what.

The players want him, the fans want him, bobby wants him, for the good of the team, cynical about cook, sheik has bigger plans regardless.

Not worried.

There just seems to be an air of inevitability about this saga. We'll have another two months of increasingly contradictory statements from the club and Tevez. Then, in early August, he'll put in another transfer request just as Real Madrid offer £20m for him. We'll turn down the bid, there'll be some wrangling before, a week before the transfer window closes, we agree to accept £30m for him.

players arn`t supposed to get on with chairmen and owners,it`s no big deal if he doesn`t like them or not,as a player he has to respect his manager, his team mates and the fans as they are the people he has more contact with on a daily basis...

He doesnt have to like them. But ultimately he does have to make his mind up whether he wants to stay at the club or not. He needs to cut out this "I might stay, I might not stay" dribbling of info to the media.
