I thought Daniel Craig was too far removed from the archetypal Bond. He’s too blond and too short.
I thought so to, until I saw Casino Royale, and I think he knocked it clean out of the park. He moved Bond up several notches.
DC is a very hard act to follow, almost begs to replaced by someone at a complete tangent to whats gone before, maybe a black Bond, maybe a female Bond?

I reckoned Tom Hiddlestone was too "girly", but thought he was brilliant in the Night Manager.
Tom Hardy is to working class.
Henry Cavill - possible, but queered his pitch with TMFU, where he pretty much played James Bond!
Idris - He's certainly cool enough!
James Norton - Probably as good a shout as any of the above, especially as hes shown he can do nasty as well as nice.
