the next 4 league games

Zaba should be back soon surely? With this international break it adds another 2 weeks of compassionate leave on top of the 2 or so weeks before the break.
According to many posters on here, Zaba should be allowed as much time off as he needs. Well, that's him out for the rest of the season, then.

I'd be happy with 9 points. West ham will be very tough I rate

No chance of 9 points, we are playing terrible, we are not the team we were, the season will fizzle out and if we are lucky we'll cling to 4th. Bob is very lucky that the forthcoming cup games are deflecting the spotlight from our slump in the league.
Let's see how we approach Sunderland at home as that will tell us his mindset.

Have we not learned anything from watching the Spuds fans trot on here and declare how they're about to go on this great winning streak only to get humiliated when it doesn't happen? They were guaranteeing wins against Blackpool and West Ham and Wolves. They got what? Two points?

Yeah....so true haha :D

But..i would like us to shut those Spurs fans mouths before the last games in the season.

We have to get a winning streak and let Tottenham get destroyed:

City, Liverpool, Chelsea away..and arsenal home. + They got 2 tough games against Madrid.

i can't wait to see how many of those games they can actually win :DD

yeah they are fighting for their lives at the moment but we should have enough to beat them

pity as i like west ham and dont want to see them go down

spurs have got wigan (away) which wont be easy as they are fighting for thier lives at the moment....and arsenal, blackpool and west brom at home before us (plus two games vs madrid)

lets hope the madrid games takes it out of them and that somewhere on the line they slip up....they are 4 pts behind and a game in hand which i think they will still have by the time they come to us

Think they will lose at Wigan and at home to Arsenal

-- Mon Mar 28, 2011 3:01 pm --

you would go to liverpool and play to defend a 0-0?

why?
You wouldn't, but at Arsenal and chelsea especially we were too tired, and crucially not good enough to hold on to the ball in midfield / up front so we ended up defending. We didn't plan to just defend the penalty box, but that's the way it ended up because we weren't good enough partly down to the opposition, partly down to our physical condition. (you might scoff, but check our rivals form in the midst of the European games - only chelsea have done well because they were out of the FA Cup and had a blank weekend. This has been accumulating for months for City)

Liverpool aren't as good as Chelsea and arsenal, but they will be a threat with suarez, Carroll and gerrard. Look what happened to utd at Liverpool. We need to be cautious

When we have won trophies and have established the team, we can afford your arrogance

Depends how spurs do as the Madrid games could put them off a little, but I think we're gonna need at least 8 points from these games if we're not gonna make it extremely hard for ourselves.

As long as we don't get any more injuries though I'm fairly confident we can pull it together for the rest of the season
well we've already picked up an injury for Richards and Toure and Zabeleta are unavailable. Looks like a lot of city players will play in midweek so lets hope milner stays fit, because he can cover any number of positions

Suarez a threat - Isn't Gerrard out for the season - Caroll just big and daft - With a decent ref will get a free kick every time.
