spurs have got wigan (away) which wont be easy as they are fighting for thier lives at the moment....and arsenal, blackpool and west brom at home before us (plus two games vs madrid)

lets hope the madrid games takes it out of them and that somewhere on the line they slip up....they are 4 pts behind and a game in hand which i think they will still have by the time they come to us

Think they will lose at Wigan and at home to Arsenal

You wouldn't, but at Arsenal and chelsea especially we were too tired, and crucially not good enough to hold on to the ball in midfield / up front so we ended up defending. We didn't plan to just defend the penalty box, but that's the way it ended up because we weren't good enough partly down to the opposition, partly down to our physical condition. (you might scoff, but check our rivals form in the midst of the European games - only chelsea have done well because they were out of the FA Cup and had a blank weekend. This has been accumulating for months for City)

Liverpool aren't as good as Chelsea and arsenal, but they will be a threat with suarez, Carroll and gerrard. Look what happened to utd at Liverpool. We need to be cautious

When we have won trophies and have established the team, we can afford your arrogance

well we've already picked up an injury for Richards and Toure and Zabeleta are unavailable. Looks like a lot of city players will play in midweek so lets hope milner stays fit, because he can cover any number of positions

Suarez a threat - Isn't Gerrard out for the season - Caroll just big and daft - With a decent ref will get a free kick every time.

He might be big and daft but he is dangerous and if you think he fouls all the time you are mistaken. He certainly didn't foul anyone when he scored against us at St James's (yes I know we won but we havent away since) when our zonal defence let us down badly.

Have we not learned anything from watching the Spuds fans trot on here and declare how they're about to go on this great winning streak only to get humiliated when it doesn't happen? They were guaranteeing wins against Blackpool and West Ham and Wolves. They got what? Two points?

and there lies our best chance of 4th.Spurs crap form.
This is true. It's fairly rare to succeed based solely on one's own form. Most times, it's a combination of winning form and opponents' losing form.

12 points is very much achievable , but I believe 9 points is a lot more realistic. Sunderland and West Ham at home , I think we will have too much for them. Liverpool will be tough , a draw or a loss is likely but a win is not out of the question , but only if we attack. Blackburn is a difficult one , against Blackpool they were dreadful in the first half but fortunately pulled it back. After a rest I believe that we can win all four games but it won't be easy. I think it was at this point last year where we went on to beat burnley 6-1 and birmingham 5-1 , I have a feeling it will be repeated one of these next four games is gunna see a team get smashed . The spuds have a lot more games than we do which can only be an advantage , they have a big squad with good players but they have to go to us , Chelsea and Liverpool and still to play Arsenal at home aswell as the relegation threatened teams near the bottom like wigan. They have a tough run in but I believe the game at Eastlands will decide it , I think we will go into it knowing if we win we get the 4th spot and Spurs need to win to keep their chances alive. But the next few games , i think we will see the city who demolished Villa 4-0 and Liverpool by 3 .

I'd be amazed if we got 12 points. 6 points from the home games hopefully and if we win one of the aways I will be pleasantly surprised on recent evidence.
