the next English Superstar?

Watched him the other night against Norn Iron. He is nowhere need the standard of Rooney at that level.

In fact he looked like Dorryl Proffit.

Exactly.

My mates a big QPR fan and has been raving bout this kid Raheem Sterling for a while.
Only 14 and playing with England U-16s, Jim Magilton has called him up to train with the first team at QPR. Apparently amazingly skillful and quick, always wanting the ball and always tries to do something with it when he gets it. When Rooney broke through at such a young age it was because he was physically a man at 16, whereas Raheem is still very light and slight but possesses very, for want of a better word, Brazilian-like skills.
Hope he continues to develop to be the great player he promises to be and maybe wears the blue of City one day.

Might be in luck....

Manchester City to swap pair of stars for QPR whizzkid Raheem Sterling

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is ready to let QPR have two players on loan - as part of a massive bid to land wonder kid Raheem Sterling.

Hughes and his team are so desperate to get the 14-year-old boy genius that they have told Rangers they can have a couple of their fringe men plus £1 million to sign him now.

Sterling has been earning rave reviews playing for the Rangers under-18 team and starred on his England under-16 debut last week in front of Brian Marwood and Brian Kidd.

The young Londoner will not sign a long-term deal at Rangers and City want to buy him now in a record deal - and are making it more tempting with the offer of players.

Rangers boss Jim Magilton does not want to lose Sterling but the chance of taking two City men would help his Championship promotion bid and their short-term aims.

Magilton will watch City's second team in action shortly, with the mega-rich club keen to get their target ahead of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

City are also boosted by news that Sterling would like to join them to continue his football education, although that would mean uprooting from London with his mum.

Jack Wilshere.

i agree i said this in pre-season after seeing him play in a tournament with them
he will be the next big thing
