I think you're right, something many posters miss when they are calling the DoF useless as they don't see the amount of leg work and preparation that must go into player acquisition

My mates a big QPR fan and has been raving bout this kid Raheem Sterling for a while.
Only 14 and playing with England U-16s, Jim Magilton has called him up to train with the first team at QPR. Apparently amazingly skillful and quick, always wanting the ball and always tries to do something with it when he gets it. When Rooney broke through at such a young age it was because he was physically a man at 16, whereas Raheem is still very light and slight but possesses very, for want of a better word, Brazilian-like skills.
Hope he continues to develop to be the great player he promises to be and maybe wears the blue of City one day.
