Nah, Just a slightly longer exposure. A standard night photo on my iPhone does 2/3 seconds exposure and thats was fine.

to the naked eye last year you could see "something" but with the camera's longer exposure it all came out far move vivid.
This was last year from Stretford, could see the red with naked eye but not the line detail.

Yes! My phone did something I hadn’t seen it do before when taking a picture….. a little timer came on and the picture “rolled” for a few seconds. I took two pictures and it did it both times.

Yeah thats probably night mode. my Iphone is quite free with it. if its even slightly dark it lobs it on to long exposures. im forever turning it off :)

In Finland for the weekend and booked on a trip.

Took us over 120 miles north of Rovaneimi and temperature of -21 degrees.

Worth it though when we finally saw it!
