To be honest, Strauss got his fingers under the ball and as a result he may well have thought that he had genuinely caught it. Only Strauss knows for sure whether he pulled a fast one - I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. If he knew the ball was grounded then that's a different matter altogether and is totally out of order.

please please please take your 3 lions glasses off, you cannot be serious in defending that surely?? but in saying that the south african mistake, woops i mean umpire rudi k should have goe to the 3rd umpire on that one! but we should be used to his mistakes by now he makes plenty of them that was only 1 of 3 for the innings to be fair

He is from Preston and supports Preston. But recently also supports City. I can't fathom why someone would do that. He isn't a blue since birth.
 
I think Broad has looked okay this morning to be honest.

Johnson's no mug with the bat is he? Couple of times when he's flapped at shorter balls but he's a tidy driver.

freddie bowling awesomely but needs a rest, and why is broad bowling? the guy is actually awful, needs at least another couple of years in county cricket before he's ready! get jimmy on!
