On the contrary,he had every choice.
If some convict manages to pick up an injury AFTER the teamsheet is submitted,Strauss can tell them to pick another player to keep wicket.
If you don't put a 2nd goalkeeper on the bench and your number one gets injured,then its hard luck and someone else puts the green jersey on.
He should have told them to pick a keeper from the players named.
But I suppose the Aussies would have had a whinge as usual.
 
What do we think on the decision to ensure the ECB get just over the 25 over limit, so no refunds.
The hour and half delay would have made no difference. IMO they should have played 40 overs or just the last hour after fully mopping, the mismatch they did smacks of money grabbing tossers in silly ties.
 
Broad is shite.

The sooner we realise that and drop him the better. I've seen more intimidating crayons.
 
Funny day for all concerned. Oz made the best of it, still a long time to go. Broad and onions will be fine.
 
Why did Swann only get two overs ?

He was spinning it and could of had Watson as well in his first over. Also Ponting has struggled against off spin early in his innings in the past.

Strange tactics...........................

Oh and yes Broad is shite
