Regarding the previous discussion on a player qualifying as 'home grown': is a player still considered to be 'in our academy' even if they're on loan elsewhere.

They need 3 years under the age of 21 but is that just on the clubs books or physically at the club?

Looks like Ibhrahim is going to Stromsgodset on a season long loan.

I really thought this lad had a great chance of making it, but seems to have not progressed for 2-3 years. Now a long way down the pecking order with the likes of Razak, Abu (if we ever get a work permit), Suarez, Rusnak & Evans all surely now ahead of him in the pecking order.

Last time I saw Ibrahim was for Norway under-21s against England under-21s and he looked poor, inferior to players like Jordan Henderson on the opposite side. He is 21, has two years left on his contract and there are probably no buyers so City will probably hope he can impress in Norway like Abu did and maybe find a buyer next summer.

He had made good progress up and till he started doing the odd training session with Viera - must have got inside his head in some way as he just went backwards. Hopefully a spell away might shake him up a bit to gain some form and give himself a chance at finding a new club.

Two absolutely stupid and reckless tackles resulting in two yellows. Shocking late tackles, can't really believe what I'm seeing.
