Is it just me or does Suarez look like he has upped his game?

He has indeed upped his game. I really hope he gets some first team game time. He has scored 4 goals in 3 games i think it is.

definitely agree with Suarez, but I suspect the bench for the remaining games will see every first team member on it, so Mancini won't give him a chance.

Maybe a pisstake 10 minutes against Norwich

I am purely basing this on the OS highlights, but I must say he is showing some excellent skills. He must be very close to getting on the bench. I personally would love to see some of these young stars get the occasional bench position and even a run towards the end of games. I think it would do wonders for their morale, and send a positive message that there is hope for them to make the transition to the squad in the future. Come on Roberto, give some of them a go!

Suarez seems to be playing better at the moment yeah, definitely a good sign! We have a game against Reading coming up which I don't think will be that tough so I'm hoping he might get some minutes there, why not?

Suarez should have been involved around the first team all season & getting on the bench much more often.

He obviously has talent & a chance of making the grade, so waiting for him to lose inspiration & his form to tail off in the reserves, then writing him off as not good enough, is not the way to deal with it & a bad advertisement for our youth set up.

I don't watch the EDS train or play every week but it seems Suarez has only been really performing quite recently.

I understand why people say they should be given a chance but they need to be ripping up trees at their own level first before they deserve a chance and up until these past few weeks our U21/EDS have been shite.

as a midfielder it is a very nice record to have 4 goals in 3 games, so he is ripping quite a few trees :)

I have seen him live quite a few times during this season and before. Clearly a talent but one who has at times flattered to deceive and I wouldn't put it down to the tactics as he does tend to be given freedom to play from what I see.

His injury didn't help but this season for a while he really disappointed me.Partly as he just wasn't playing very well but also in attitude as he was throwing his arms up when things didn't come off as if looking to blame someone else but also then not really working hard enough.

I would say though in the games I have seen lately, and that's not all of them like some,I have sensed a better attitude alongside better performances and it's not just about the goals he has scored.The team do seem to look for him and to him to make the play and when he is on song it's good to watch.

The recent game v Norwich was an interesting one.He started wide right and it just wasn't working.I assume that was part of the team plan I think with Guidetti down the middle and I think Fofana on the left ( no Lopes or Pozo for this one.) It just wasn't working so he switched wings with Fofana.I say wings as he then started to play more central but left sided and the game took off for us.

We scored 3 in the latter part of that first half with Suarez getting the 3rd with a nice interchange of passes with JG.He also took the corner which Huws scored from and set Leigh free down the left and we scored from his cross.

I think it is possible he might get a little game time before the end of the season as long as 2nd is guaranteed.I think he deserves that and Mancini should want to see how he fares.The EDS do try to play passing football similar to the first team so he should be used to what's expected
