We played Watford, Leeds and Barnsley in the FA Cup. As far as I can remember, Lopes got some minutes against Watford and Razak in one or two games too. Suárez on the bench once or twice but not subbed on.

For the optimists and naysayers alike, Mancini has made clear his intentions to use youth players for the last 2 games of the season once we beat Swansea and consolidate 2nd place.
This clearly supports the theory that Mancini has our youth team in his focus and undermines the school of thought which projects an image of him that cares not about unestablished players.

he says 'players from the second team'... does this mean as in second string? i.e. Kolarov and Maicon!

Watch us drop points against Swansea and give him an excuse to play full strength

Mancini added: "If we win we can have a chance to play the young players and also the players who play for the second team to play in the last two games. For us, it could be important for the future"
Nothing ambiguous about what he says. 2nd team clearly means 2nd string.
And he clearly says "if we win" so I don't understand why he would need an excuse to play our full strength if we are not in a strong position to secure 2nd place.
Or would you rather we didn't?
