Mancini will say he is still 2 months away from first team football probably. Cant really belive he cannot get 10-15 minutes in the end of matches.

Especially now with 15 points behind and Tevez and Dzeko possibly facing the axe in the summer.

Looks like City will be 5 points behind Reading and Norwich unless of a late goal, which isn't good because only one team can go through from this "best of the worst" group and it'd mean more football for City's kids if it was them.

I know youth football is not all about results but i can't believe with all the supposed millions that has been spent on talented players we are doing so badly in results. City could end near the bottom of the bottom group.

Why are people obsessed with the results of our youth team they do not matter surely?

Do you not get a little tingle of joy with the news that the U14s beat the rags 5-0 yesterday then? I know I did.
Not really.

I'd be happy if one of them was good enough to make the first team though.

Yeah, the "kids playing at older level" excuse works to some extent but not being among the worst of Category 1 academy clubs. As it stands we're the 18th best team out of 22 awarded Category 1 status.

It's very very early days.

Well apart from the odd game, these expensive imports have not shown any quality whatsoever at any time this season.

It all depends where your starting from. We are obviously struggling at one age group that's why the are all playing up an age group. It swings and roundabouts. I suspect next couple of years we will probably dominate
