The Official Meltdown Thread

I think frustration sums it up for me, i think we were worried about the start of the season because of spurs and liverpool not sunderland and blackburn. I am a fan of Mancini but even i have to say he made some strange choices today, for his sake and ours he needs to start getting the team to play consistently

I'd just like to know we he bothered buying Silva. Bet the lads really glad he came to warm our bench.

Posts like this tell me it's time to stay off bluemoon for a few days ... no offence pigeon
Sorry you feel that way, but against a second rate team like Blackburn at home, a little creativity wouldn't go a-miss. Bringing him on after 84 minutes was hardly A, a stroke of genius, or B), going to help Silva think he made a good decision. I could even accept him bench to start but so long as he came on with enough time to make an impact. Ironically he had a volley on goal as soon as he came on, so imagine what he could have done if he had a good half hour to make an impact?

Just had a look at some of the comments on the board after todays result, and i must say some of them make my my head spin,i mean we are 4 games into the season and some (although i find this hard to belive) are calling for the managers head ! if some fans are serious about this, i suggest you sit down in a very quite, very dark room, and think, really think about what your saying about the manager and the club you claim to support. These things happen in football thats what makes it such an attractive game, that's what keeps supporters coming back for more week after week (that and the thought and hope of winning a trophy ) In my humble opinion this team we all love and support WILL get it right,it WILL win trophies, but we we sure as shit are not going to win or lose out on 4th place or higher after just 4 games ! I've been a city supporter for 42 years and belive me todays result is not a black day for Manchester City football club, supporters of my age (and younger of course ) know what a black day looks like and feels like,we have fucking seen enough of them to know.So could you please keep a sense of prospective and calm the fuck down people.Thank you,and good evening.

GTFO!

It's no suprise that people are disappointed about today's result and we should be battering teams like Blackburn especially at home, but anyway it is early days and were only 3 points behind United. I think we need to play Silva a lot more, Mancini says that he will take a while to adapt and he can't adapt if he's on the bloody bench.

I can't quite believe the people moaning about Silva not playing.

The Europa game against Timisoara is a great example of why he isn't ready to start yet. I was baffled after reading that matchday thread at how well everyone thought he had played. All i saw was a half fit man making bad decision after bad decision with the ball, and that was in a game where he was under little pressure, which was played at a training game pace.

He isn't sharp enough to start yet, and Mancini obviously knows this from seeing him day in day out in training. He probably won't start hitting the ground til around November time, which is normal for a player who missed a chunk of pre-season because of a World Cup where he got very little playing time.

Today we were unlucky. We created some decent enough openings. We should have had a penalty and their goal came from a bad mistake by us. We're not always going to steamroll teams at home just because we have the better squad/starting 11. I'm as gutted as the next man, but it's football, it happens.

We're not going to win the league this season, so we need to be in the mix for 3rd/4th, and we probably will be for most of the season.

Spurs drew with West Brom and lost to Wigan last time out. Liverpool were lucky to beat West Brom, Newcastle beat Villa 6-0, Everton have made a very poor start. Only really arsenal and Chelsea have started well. United haven't done badly, although they've had some pretty straight forward games. It's a long season. We'll be alright.

Bang on!

From what I've seen Silva is a fair way off been ready for the Prem.

Where are the twatini apologists now? Can those of us who have criticised this negative, incompetent clown finally have our say without abuse? 1 point from Sunderland and Blackburn. No excuse, get him out.

Clown.

It was a bad performance, we may have just deserved the win but we didn't win...get over it.

It will soon come together...to call for Mancini's head is a disgrace, shut the fuck up and roll on thursday!
