Can I run something by you all please? Why don't we set up a Committee on here and if you're at the game and you think of a 'witty' song which might be offensive to others, under no circumstances sing it, I repeat DO NOT FOOKING SING IT, but as soon as you get home, post it on here and the Committee can assess its content and then let you know as soon as possible if it passes the tests.

What do you think?

"a committee" bwraaaaaaahahahaahahaha

You do realise I wasn't being serious don't you? Please tell me you do cos I really liked your post about The Goat and felt we could have been friends.

Re: Words to Ade song at Pompey?

I am pretty sure the pc brigade on bluemoon are on a mission to ruin the best fans forum we have.

they seem to want to sanitise our club beyond belief.

in my opinion football has always been tribal and has included alcohol and swearing it has always been an escape for all sorts of people.
I personaly have never had much problem accepting this and am a realist in this respect if poeple wish to sing mun1ch songs let them if two grown men want to knock seven bells out of each other let them. everyone uses football in their own way I used to sit next to a very straight laced prison pardre in the north stand. and for him jumping to his feet and just shouting and singing was as wild as some who chanted mun1ch and looked for fights but it meant his saturday release was further from his real life than if I were to join in with any of the "unacceptable" forms of chanting would have been from my real life.

where I used to work every other word was a swear word so I do not find swearing offensive I have heard rags use the death of mv foe as a way to goad me so I do not find mun1ch references that offensive either . I was brought up in wythenshawe so I do not think fighting is always the wrong way to sort out things.
Having said all this I have run a succesful business and have brought up a family who all work and have never really been in trouble with the law
I may not always agree with what people do at the game but I defend thier rights to do it anyway,

one last thing that drives me mad on here is the bnp references . bluemoon posters seem to think the bnp are some sort of illegal organisation they are not and whilst I have never or never will vote for them, until they are made illegal I find it offensive that the bnp is used as slur.

the bnp could hardly be much more damaging than thatchers government of the late 70's .
get real football is about being mental and getting drunk occassionally grown men do swear fight and are lewd at times and for me a football ground is the perfect place for all these things to happen and always have been.

Apart from the BNP issue (we'll have to agree to disagree on that one) a post that more or less sums up the way I see things.
