The Adebayor song! I know there is lots of threads about him and the song but who the fuck cares!

In an interview on MOTD2 the guy said he's happy to be at a club where the fans love him. I wonder if he knows what the song means.

It is a racist song and it has to stop. Leave the elephant chants to Spurs. I know songs on bluemoon never get sung at CoMS and I sit in the North Stand so it wont get sung where I am for sure.

But all you guys in the SS and singing sections get this going FFS. I speak for thousands of posters on here when I say that the song has to stop!

Are you telling me that is the most offensive song you will hear at City? I agree, it isn't for kids, but there's quite a lot not suitable for kids at football.

If we have to give consideration to children before singing at football then the world has gone slightly insane.

It doesn't scan. Can I just clap? I've decided that this is the best way forward at games from now on as I clearly don't know the difference between racist ("...his Dad washes elephants...") and crude and a bit weird ("...hung like an elephant...")
