You dont seem to care about people having to listen to you! It is called freedom of speech, this song is not racist, that has been established on here now. It is however a very very shit song and we should and could do a lot better imo.

The point here is that football will always have its shit/unsavoury/downright despicable chants and you have a personal choice of either not going or not joining in if you dont like.

Lets not forget though that football is also the highlight of the week for many still and brings untold joy and fun for a lot of us, it is by no means, all of a sudden, a shit experience because of a few songs/chants!

Discussion ? If only it was. Accusations of racism, puerility, etc, dont seem like a discussion. To me it seems like 'Im better than you because I dont sing your infantile songs'. Im not judging anyone, Im just saying that if that's what people want to do then let them. I dont own club, I didnt pay for their ticket, I dont even know them, so who am I to tell them what to do ? If it starts to border on 'illegal' then as I said, that's a diferent matter.
Maybe you personally aren't preaching, but there are plenty on here that seem to think that their way is the only way. I say live and let live....

"Hung like an Elephant" is not and never will be a racist comment! I suppose that the phrase "hung like a Donkey" could have been used, however the song is an attack on the racist one that a few clubs, fans sing and this is an attempt at mocking their racist version. By the very direction of your argument the converse is true - what business is it of yours if I don`t like the song or don`t want to hear about a mans cock at a football match?
I obviously don`t object to the ridiculous comment on the refs eyesight as no doubt you will be aware there is no law covering such chants to bats.
"Hung like an elephant" may be construed to be racist if with no knowledge of the lengh of the penis involved or indeed the degree of discomfort to the individuals wife, it was related to a person of black personage given the stereotypical connotations over many years.
