I don't, in fact I'm considering downgrading to a City card next year. There doesn't seem much point in buying two season cards which I can barely afford anyway, when I struggle to get to a third of the games because of work commitments, only to be way off when it comes to final tickets. I couldn't be more down in the dumps.

Understand completely. My point was, whether you refer to it as corporate, neo-liberalism, globalisation, or whatever else, the process has sped up at such an accelerating rate over the past 10-20 years, that many of us go to games, and still feed the conditions out of which issues like this emerge. Whether that be paying £3.95 for a pint, £40+ for a shirt etc. It would take fans all over the country to stop going to games, to stop spending money, to make a significant statement, before things like, the corporate wembley thing is even discussed. And it isnt going to happen unfortunately.

I see your point mate. I'm looking at the smaller picture though, now I've got a few quid I won't need to spend on travel, I might get a cup final shirt with Unworthy Prole on the back for City Square, or maybe even Not Part of it. What do you reckon?

Hubby and Son both went to the semi, this time round only the hubby could get a ticket as the jnr allocation had sold out. Think I will be taking my boy to city to watch the match with his flag etc.

I also suspect not all the jnr tickets that were sold are actually gonna be used my jnrs on the day!

Haha, I'm not really there! more like. In fact that's a good song for C Sq on final day.

We are not
We're not really there
We are not
Not even nearly there

Just like the fans who only had an access card
We're not nearly there.

Quality.

I had 3680, my dad had 3480, he's been taking me since i was a boy so didn't feel right getting a ticket without him. Wished I'd purchased him an Everton ticket to get his points up to 3500 now.

Neither me nor my lad got one..I've been offered a corporate box ticket but not one for him so turned it down...we'll get a few beers in at home or maybe go to City square. We had the best day out ever at the Semi, so whilst I am not happy to miss the final, we will have that shared memory for ever.
To those of you going...do us all proud and sing your hearts out.

I went to the semi, and I'm happy with that. Seeing us dick them lot at Wembley will always be a better day than beating stoke in a final.
I'm going City Square, it'll be top, and I reckon there will be a good 5k there so its the next best thing to going wembley IMO.
