Will be quality for Stoke i think. Normally top quality when he's in a physical battle but a bit hit and miss when up against a quick and nimble sort of striker like Defoe.

For what you'll pay for him, he's a quality buy.

should fit in well. Dunnes hoofs and delaps long throws, samba esque football.

Dunne would do well at stoke. It'll be a lot more backs against the wall, bodies on the line defending over there and that will suit him well.

if its dunne look after him, great bloke and all in all top player 4 city, unfortunately the speed in which were trying to progress means the likes of dunne will become surplus! but when we were in the shit or just average at best, he was our shining light! i heard that shawcross is sometimes linked with a move (arsenal, mostly) maybe thats why there goin for dunnie

Agreed, I think he would be outstanding for someone like Stoke and you should easily get 3 good years out of him.

I think he'd do a great job for you. And nearly all of us rate him at his best, but we are well aware of his worst too. Sendings off and gaffs mostly.

I have mixed feelings if he leaves, it's sad to see such a fantastic servant of the club go and if he could consistantly produce his best form he would be one of the first names on the team sheet, as it is he doesn't and I'm in two minds whether he is the quality for where we want to be heading. How good is your source anyway? Track record?

better than a lot on here give him credit for, yes he has a couple of lapses but always gives his all.
