Happyblue is pretty reliable. And everywhere is saying Toure is close to signing even Wenger said he could move in the next 24 hours

I think you've missed the entire point of this thread. HappyBlue and Spursmad 321 are two posters renowned to being privvy to the sort of information that most can't get near to. My opinion on the pair has no relevance to this thread. I simply add their comments as a lot of posters are interested in their comments, just as much as they are interested in reading the latest from Sky Sports News/BBC etc.

Thanks for the completely unprovoked and amusing lesson in life though. Child.

You could have a "potential incoming Manager" part, im losing faith in Hughes since i was watching the exact same performances in SA as i was watching last season, but with better players in the team.

So you're losing faith in Hughes after a hand full of meaningless pre-season games. In which non of the line ups looked anything like they will come the start of the season. Give your head a shake mate.

I'm dreading the idea that it might take some time for so many new players to gell. If people are prepated to lose faith after a couple of meaningless friendlies, then there will be bridge jumping, self-immolation and projective vomiting if we don't get a good start in games that actually matter. Thousands will be on Suicide Watch by the time we get to the swamp derby in September.

Speaking of which, I can't believe the swamp derby is only a couple of months away.

ONO!!! BEST THREAD OF THE SUMMER, MAYBE EVER!!!!!

anything that keeps one from having to wade through a thousand odd pages of monkeys flinging poo at each other just to catch a sniff of the latest transfer goss is better than alright in my book.

Thanks ono
I wish I had bothered to look at this thread a few weeks ago. I agree with zeusbheld, but the thought of flying monkey poo is gross.

Valeri Bojinov is hoping to fire newly-promoted Parma to Serie A survival after joining them from Manchester City.

The Bulgarian international is expected to join the club officially later this evening. Parma have already confirmed the deal this morning, and Bojinov cannot wait to get started.

"I want to thank City. Italy is my second home and I want to thank Parma for the faith they have shown in me," Bojinov is quoted as saying by Goal.com Italia.

The Ducali have agreed a one-year loan deal with the Premier League outfit for the former Lecce, Juventus and Fiorentina hitman.

Parma gained promotion to Italy's top-flight following their one year stint in the Campionato Cadetto. Reports claim Lazio were also in the running, but theGialloblu got there first.
