Robinho was not a proven Premier League performer, you can level many things at Rooney's off the field behaviour, but he has desire and drive.
He's a born winner. We do not just sign a world class talent.
We are signing one with a grudge, and a determination to remind everyone of his abilties.
I seem to recall the same of Carlos Tevez.
Anybody on this forum who doesn't admit that the first name they look for, after the City team, is whether Rooney is in a manure line-up come derby day.
