The official "We don't want Wayne Rooney" thread.

Anyone that wants Rooney to come obviously wears size 28 shoes and has a big red nose and drives a car that always breaks down.
yeh what the fuck do some of the worlds best managers know eh? he can't be good enough for us that's why shit teams like real, barca, chelsea etc etc are trying to sign him....i'd go as far as to say there isn't a club in the world that wouldn't sign him. yet people on here claim they don't want him at city 'not because he's a rag'........bollocks. the same members were probably of the same opinion when tevez was linked with us and are now eating their words. whether he is a rag or not rooney is a great player that could only make us stronger imo.

Signings are made with respect to the players that are already there. I know this is a hard concept for some of you lot to grasp. If I was a Chelsea fan I'd want him and not Dzeko. Simpleton.

The owners wanted Robinho look how that turned out, people are allowed their own opinion just because the club/owners/manager wants a player doesn't mean that everyone should bow down and agree.

BTW the only reservation I have regarding Rooney is whether he will do it on the pitch!

Robinho was not a proven Premier League performer, you can level many things at Rooney's off the field behaviour, but he has desire and drive.

He's a born winner. We do not just sign a world class talent.

We are signing one with a grudge, and a determination to remind everyone of his abilties.

I seem to recall the same of Carlos Tevez.

Anybody on this forum who doesn't admit that the first name they look for, after the City team, is whether Rooney is in a manure line-up come derby day.

I can't wait.

Said exactly the same to my missus last night - always hoped Rooney wasn't playing against us.

Rooney a one-season wonder.

Hahahahahahahahaha

Stop it.

My sides are hurting.

Fucking one season wonder. How did I miss that gem?

Possibly the daftest, most blinkered and biased comment I have ever seen on Bluemoon, and that's a bold statement.

Well given that I didn't say it, it's easy to see how you missed it. Pillock.

Paying top money for Rooney would be a huge risk

What exactly would we be risking?

Er, that he plays shit for the next 12 to 24 months and then fucks off? Or that because he's such a fat lard arse, he keeps getting injured again. Or how about he fucks off Tevez who leaves and we are left with Shrek in his current shit-useless form. Or what about it totally de-valuing any achievement we might make because "we only managed it with United's best players". I can do a list if you like.

Jeez you are slow.

Do you think Arsenal would try to sign Lampard or Drogba?

Would Everton go in for Torres?

Of course they wouldn't.

Look at the shit over A Cole joining Chelsea. It's a big deal players moving from one arch rival to another, you know.

The lads around me at the game tonight were (surprisingly) unanimous in saying they didn't want wooney. And no I didn't ask. Just listened. There was even a song started after Ade's hat-trick:

We've Adebayor
We've Adebayororor
Fuck off wayne rooney
We've Adebayor

:-)

fuck off rooney you fat scouse prick. let the rats go down with the ship
