The big barrier City have faced so far has been our inability to attract truly world class players. There has been an, admittedly reducing, barrier for these players because it is seen as a risk.

We have the best squad in the PL and the longer it plays together the better it will get. We already have world class players. Long term will see Academy products coming through. That's the strategy, a lot of investment and work has gone into our youth set up to see us produce our own players; just like Barca do for example.
What's missing is an out of form, fag smoking, boozing cheat who has scored one goal - a penalty - in the last 6 months. Tell you what let's pay a £100m for him and pay him 500 grand a week just like the papers suggest. That'll really take us miles forward.
