The official "We don't want Wayne Rooney" thread.

I'm delighted that I voted in this thread. I knew it was never gonna happen and hope that it didn't

Shrek just woman slapped the rags in and out im pissing myself. not only did he prove that the rags pay over the odds for his service, as a mercenary i should add, but also he opened the floodgates for more of this Terry-esque tactic from other rag players.

I knew we werent in for him since we are interested on glasslegs torres. our ownership said, if we are still contenders come the turn of the year, they'll ready the fund for glasslegs.

Well done Agent Rooney. would be PMSL if he won the contract and still maintain his shite form.

I wouldn't be so triumphalist Ladies and Gents.

What was Rooney worth on his current form with only 18 months on his contract with only 2 PL clubs realistically able to pay his wage demands? I would have said 20mill tops

All of a sudden he's now signed a 5 yr contract. If he gets his form back and props them up for another season what's he going to be worth in the summer?

I'd be willing to bet baconface has played the loyalty card and bullied him into signing a new contract on the proviso that they would be willing to let him go in summer.

The only other scenario I can see is the Glazer's have woken up and smelt the coffee and realised that if they let him go and don't try and strengthen the team then the cash cow might dry up. If Rooney doesn't go then I'm also willing to bet that baconface gets at least 50mill for new players.

but woudnt it be as funny as feck if his form NEVER gets back even after the payrise? :)

for me this is the likeliest scenario.

50mill? where from? as much as they want to go for long term pursuits, they've got the debt burning them every tick tock. priority is bleed their cow dry. ronaldo was a bigger talisman and no 50mil was in sight.

Let's get this straight, he is an average striker.

The ONLY PEOPLE who talk about Rooney in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo are the rag-infested media, your Henry Winter-types, and United fans.

1 goal in 7 months.

A disgraceful attitude on and off the pitch.

Badly let down England in 2006 and 2010.

I don't want this twat anywhere near City please:

The amount of shit I got for this post - I feel vindicated that the nobhead is staying. Time to crack open the champers.
That stuffs typical of the cheating **** but rarely gets mentioned, he likes a dive too but of course our media would have you believe that's only foreigners.

I expect the question of Rooney shall be revived in the summer with City once again becoming contenders to sign him. I didn't expect him to come in January anyway given that the club would have been pissing away money granted Rooney's ability to invoke the Webster ruling and then deprive the rags of much needed cash. Then again, if we're in the title hunt come January anything's possible with our wealth... Rooney's lost some of the few Brownie points he had with me though because if he still wants to go, he's signed this contract in order to get the rags some desperately needed cash. At least if he'd shafted them, it would have been a bit of a giggle despite my misgivings about signing him.

Oh no what have I done? How many of you Shrek lovers wish you could take back what you posted on here.

I would just like to thank all the other Bluemooners who like myself voted in the poll that they didn't want the twat. Sad greasyspoon wallers will be ripping this forum for weeks.

I'm just wondering how old all you who voted yes are and your reasons for doing so. Probably because he is on the front of your FIFA 11 game and you've got posters of him on your walls in his England kit.

You have learnt the hard way good luck trying to delete or edit posts.
Don't worry mate, every one of them is deleting posts as we speak. Embarrassments to the club imo.

Fergie has exhausted any reputation he had left.

Rooney is now known as a mercenary and devalued himself in the eyes of many.

The Glazers are now consigned to having to spend they cannot afford or upset Rooney, lol.

All in all a good result for us!

Dave, get off your f00kin horse will you?

We all want city to play in champions league but we don't need to sign that dirty RAG to achieve it. Have some faith in the players that we allready have. fooKS sake.

FFS, he is NOT a rag. He merely PLAYED for the rags. Becoming one of them would not have been part of the contract. He is bringing up his son as an Everton fan. People need to grow the fuck up now before rational people start thinking we have learning difficulties.

I've not got learning difficulties but I have learned a lot about bluemoon and some of the posters from this thread.

Fook off Wooney you 'orrible person .

Thought you just admitted you called everybody clowns? Then implied you can't find a reasonable opinion here.

I said that this thread is full of clowns.

There's a difference.

Where did I say I can't find a reasonable opinion here?

There have been a few on both sides.

clowns indeed

Fine mate. You go and reminisce about Barry Conlon.

I was being sarcastic ......I'd rather be back in Division 3 than sign Rooney ...thats how shit the signing would be for me.

Sigh of relief

-- Fri Oct 22, 2010 4:32 pm --
