Thank god that shite is over and chuffed to hell that he's not comming, although Sky Sports crap have reported we failed in our bid to buy him???????????
Typical - and to think people part with good money watch that shite!

Scenario City offered Rooney by Gill at UEFA draw at end of August they also contacted Chelsea Madrid and Barca. City did not make any response, Rooney getting more desperate and pushed by his agent forced the issue public. So City confirmed not interested. Colleen had ruled out overseas, Chelsea would never give him or rags the deal they wanted. Mancini knew this hence his statement on Wednesday, so Rags and Rooney had no option but to agree new deal.

I can go with this, but why have Sky sports reported that we have failed in our bid to sign him, (Second rate reporters perhaps)

Lol at Redcafe... their opinions of him soon changed. Few days he was a "Scouse cnut"... now white pele mode is back on.

I had mixed opinions having him, wouldnt of mind having him here but rated Torres more... but if either played for us the way they play now then I wouldnt of gone near them. Both carrying a huge price tag aswell.

Makes me laugh more when rags say "Citys team are all mercenaries"... Rooney rejects contract, stories come out about a possible move to Manchester and hes offered a new contract which he decides to accept.

Hmmmm, wonder how much they coughed up to keep him.

180K a week is being talked about.

That was close Blues, I was almost doomed to watch Macclesfield until Rooney left city. I can get a good night’s sleep tonight knowing that in the future I can take my Grandchildren to the City museum and to their first game without our history being sullied by that vile character. My memories of my Grandfather taking me to my first game in the early 70’s and introducing me to the Man City family are as clear to me now as when I took my son to his first city game in the first division. Our history may not be littered with trophies but I am still proud of it. Please let us progress with principles and dignity, be patient, the silverware is on its way without the likes of Rooney.

Let's get this straight, he is an average striker.

The ONLY PEOPLE who talk about Rooney in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo are the rag-infested media, your Henry Winter-types, and United fans.

1 goal in 7 months.

A disgraceful attitude on and off the pitch.

Badly let down England in 2006 and 2010.

I don't want this twat anywhere near City please:

The amount of shit I got for this post - I feel vindicated that the nobhead is staying. Time to crack open the champers.
