The Pep 'Survivor List' (Senior and Junior (loanee) players)

You can immediately rule out -

Lejeune

Sobrino

Nwakali

Caceres.

I doubt pep will ever meet them.

-------------

Roberts & Unal are both on multiple year loans so they won't feature next season. Ntcham also fits into this category.

--------

Denayer is the clear favourite, Maffeo had a good chance not only because he's quality but also because Guardiola's brother is his agent.

And Jack Byrne seems to be really impressing in a bad Cambuur side. So he might be an outside shot.

Lawlor depends on whether Pep buys into the whole "keep Wright around" idea.

Aguero, Silva, KDB, Fernandinho and Kompany will all keep their spots under Pep you would think. Talk of Busquets coming excites me even tho I know its just Paper talk.

I'd be amazed if Lawlor was still around next season, what with Gunn being the higher rated of the two.

Lawlor has looked very solid for Bury by all accounts, but I think Gunn has that extra bit of quality, such as his distribution, that give him much more potential.

Big fan of Seko Fofana and Jason Denayer. Not seen anywhere near enough of them to know if they are Pep type players. From what I've seen of Denayer he seems pretty confident on the ball.

I thought the Jovetic loan was with obligation to buy? Same with Ntcham.

When Jovetic is fit I think he is a really good player, problem is that he is never fit and never gets a good run of games to build rhythm. So probably more trouble than worthwhile.

It is possible we won't see very many of the above players as many of them were signed as part of the odd Girona FC dealings or were signed before the new academy was built and came out with the idea of running a "holistic football club".

Ntcham looks the interesting one as there has been rave reviews about him in Italy. I was always under the opinion that they were to buy him once the loan had finished though, i'd like to see him given a shot here if he's as good as the articles say he is.

The truth is we won't know till Pep's had a couple of months to look at them. Everyone's talking Denayer up as a definite but for all we know Pep might plan on buying a couple of centre halfs.

I think Denayer, Maffeo, Roberts, Ntcham, and Byrne will all at some point play a game under Pep. Unal I'm unsure of, the rest aren't good enough.
