Went up Souther Fell in the lakes a few weeks ago and felt like we were on a different planet, didn’t see a single person in 4 hours of walking. We then then did the Tolkien trail a few days later in the ribble valley. Two brilliant walks that could not have been any more contrasting. Would recommend both to any walkers.
