I know it's not a cunning plan. I'm not sure Pellegrini has a plan at all. Seems like a sit-back-and-wait-for-something-good-to-happen kinda guy. Just wish he'd be braver and try something else other than a 4-4-2 when clearly we don't have the players to succeed with this.

I agree but its clear to see he, s been working on the 442 all summer and aint going to ditch it now ! I, d personally play a 4-3-3 with fernandinho holding yaya and either nasri/silva in the middle sergio out left navas out right and negredo thro the middle pace and power up front pace power creativity and a shield for the back 4 could even play kolorov at left back knowing fernsndinho is sitting there. That team would dominate the prem we, ve had the best defence for the past 3 seasons we should be building on that platform not ripping it up and starting all over again.
