picking on the poor eh?There's always one.
They don't hate logic and truth . The laws of logic are : law of non contradiction , law of excluded middle and law of identity . Without these everyone would contradict themselves , language , grammar , understanding , thought would not exist . These are eternal and necessary and predate humanity .The infallibility shite is truly beyond belief. However, when you have a vast group of people, who are willing to disconnect every critical faculty and actually believe a man raised people from the dead, it's an open door. That delusion is cherished by billions and not just Catholics.
The fact that nearly 30 other gods share the same story as Jeezy, really makes you wonder how they can think he is the one, when most of the other gods came before the Nazareen Hipster.
And the wonder is not in a good way. People of faith hate logic and truth. They prefer to shut their ears and avert their eyes and criticise people who expose the glaring bullshit of it all.

You can't stub your toe on a law of logic . These laws are immaterial yet without them no one could even speak or make sense of anything .
They can't be made up because if they could one could change them . Imagine trying to change say the law of non contradiction -" e.g. hey ,welcome to the Swamp - here contradictions are true " - absurdity would follow .
They don't arise in matter yet they exist . They necessarily exist .
Matter doesn't create these laws . The only thing left to say is that the laws reflect a mind .
Red herring , gross caricatures and straw men are not a good retorts to the initial piece on laws of logic . The atheist view hasn't come to terms with that . Atheism has no basis for laws of logic , uniformity in nature and objective morality . That does a complete end run around even creation. Immaterial Laws ( information ) do not arise in matter.Creationists deny the truth about the age of the earth, how it came about, evolution and talking snakes.
To take this position is illogical in light of overwhelming evidence. They will say the follow the logic that they are created by an invisible man in the sky who created everything but forgot how he did it.
Rational, logical assumptions based on verifiable evidence, do not end up with Adam and Eve, a woman turned into a pillar of salt as truth. I'm not even going into detail about dragons, Giants, arks, unicorns, 900 year old boatbuilder's and a guy spending a weekend inside a whale.
Logic and truth are evaded to an extent I never conceived even possible.
As for the Catholics there is a debate that is ongoing between conservatives and progressivist liberals.Thats what it boils down to .Creationists deny the truth about the age of the earth, how it came about, evolution and talking snakes.

what's wrong with you, man!
never mind others, jesus christ, our lord, raised himself from the dead.
at easter.
the bible tells us so.
it is nothing more than coincidence that the tribes of scandinavia worshipped a goddess called eostre.
the fact that she was the goddess of dawn and her name derived from "east" whence the sun rises is pure chance.
nothing at all to do with her already-celebrated special festival at the spring equinox,
the dawn of the sun's reign in the northern year.
it is of no connection whatsoever that pagan tradition tells of the "year king",
a human victim who was chosen, sacrificed & buried in the ground in mid-december,
only for his body to magically come alive again in the spring.
his remains, having been buried in the fields, were reborn as the rising grain,
and everyone shared in the miracle by eating bread made from that grain.
it is a twist of fate that our saviour died and was reborn at exactly the same times.
