The positive thread.

I've criticised Pep, most will obviously. I think he will keep playing it his way, and eventually he will get a good defensive balance. We haven't seen the best of Gundogan and Sane yet. On a really positive note Jesus alongside Sergio or Nacho as to be a huge bonus. It's definately not all doom and gloom.

That you even have to write that, is staggering really isn't it. We're not exactly Leeds, are we.

We really have become spoiled brats. Well some of us have.

Realistically the league has gone with the league cup. Champion League isn't going to happen at the moment which leaves the FA Cup and top 4 to fight for.

That's the beauty of football; it's emotion invoking.

We laughed and took the piss out of ourselves at times when we were shit but we can't forget everyone was hurting and were thoroughly pissed at the best of times how the club was often run, or how certain individuals treated it.

We pay top dollar now, as supporters, and as an employer to watch inconsistent brilliance and dross. As much as we love the memory of being a parody of ourselves, our expectations have altered in line with the clubs newfound ambitions and the current run of form isn't an anomaly, it's a frequent occurrence over the last 2 and a half years.

After a loss as bad as that, on the day and a few days after people will display the negative side we all see in our rivals, but only because we care and want better. A bit of positivity doesn't go amiss I agree, but we're City supporters so it's typical. ;)

The second half performance was encouraging and despite what the media has said about us when we defended both titles, Leicester along with both Chelsea and United have been a lot worse.

I'm hoping a positive will arrive this week and Pep swallows his pride and realises he doesn't have the quality of players to play his system at the back.

there's only two things he needs to do and that's revert to a back four and drop one of Ilkay, Dave or Kev.
