The positive thread.

That you even have to write that, is staggering really isn't it. We're not exactly Leeds, are we.

We really have become spoiled brats. Well some of us have.

Bollocks mate. Where we have come from is irrelevant to where we are now because we was once shit doesn't make yesterday acceptable.

We have one of the best managers in the world, spent a tonne of money and are getting outfought which is unforgivable. Us being shit years ago just makes the success all the more sweeter it doesn't make poor performances acceptable.

I think it's the hangover from last season this too. We have won 16 of our last 35 games.

A record of 9/3/3 is ok with a new manager. If the start had been poor and the wins in recent weeks then it would have been ok but it's the alarming dip in performances and defensive work from the whole team that is concerning.

If we don't pick up this month it will be over for by New Year.

There are too many problems to sort out for me so I'm not expecting much from this season. Still not easy to see happening though especially after waiting 2 years and having to ensure that shite last season to get Pep.

For now we have to believe that a manager with a record as good as his will get it right. It will take a load more cash though!

I said we are not exactly up shit creek. I didn't mention our past, nor make any comment about performances.

Spot on. So many problems from last season still exist.

Our amazing start probably raised expectations. My issue is we have wasted the last two year for pep and it's not going as planned. It's now far too much pressure on this Arsenal game.

This season shouldn't be another wasted year. Chelsea aren't doing too bad with a new manager and a lot less money spent. I know they're not in Europe but our problems are a lot more than playing midweek some weeks.

You called some blues spoilt and that line usually follows with remember where we come from shite. If you didn't mean that then no worries.

Correct, I didn't mean that. I simply meant that I cannot think of another club globally that's in a more exciting phase of its existance that our club, right now. Of course Barca and Real and Bayern are better at playing footy right now, but they've done it all before and being a fan of one of those clubs must be, dare I say it, a bit boring.

We are on the cusp of becoming one of, if not THE best football clubs on the entire planet. How exciting is that!

I think against Arsenal it's a case of don't expect too much. They look good to me and will definitely score against this defence. The two idiots getting sent off against Chelsea has diminished our chances in that game.

Watford are not a bad side either so it's one game at a time for me. I think if we can get 10 points out of the next 15 games we will have done ok. At the moment though I am not confident of winning any game especially without those two
